VanWaters Labradors Puppy Contract
All Puppies will be up-to-date on vaccinations and dewormers. Puppies come with a copy of pedigrees, health clearances, and health records that are available on the specific litter. All Puppies are microchipped and will be provided with a starter bag of puppy food (12oz.). All Puppies are sold on a Limited Registration (no breeding rights).
Genetic Health guarantee for 12 months. This guarantee would be for debilitating congenital defects of the puppy/dog.
Puppy must be taken to a licensed veterinary within 3 business days, otherwise guarantee is void. Failure to provide your puppy with timely, regular veterinary care will void all guarantee.
Hip guarantee for 26 months. This guarantee would cover that before 26 months, and after 24 months, the puppy would be “OFA’d” and receive a “fair” or better. If the puppy is bred before 30 months guarantee will be void. This hip guarantee excludes conclusions made before they are 24-months-old, no exceptions.
Guarantee does not include or cover: color, coloring, size, weight, disposition, temperament, conformation, markings, and/ or ability of the puppy/ dog.
The puppy must stay on the same brand of food in which the breeder recommended for at least 24 months. If not, the guarantee is void.
In case of a debilitating congenital defect, buyer must submit letter or email from veterinarian. This letter or email would state the defect and clarify reason for a puppy replacement. There is never given a refund for a puppy, only a puppy replacement. This only covers a replacement puppy not the training that may have been given to the puppy.
If the puppy should die from a suspected congenital defect within 12 months of its birth date, an autopsy must be performed at the purchaser’s expense by a veterinary teaching hospital or state licensed DVM acceptable to the seller’s own veterinarian. If the autopsy shows a congenital defect as the reason of death, the seller will provide another puppy of equal value to the purchaser. The guarantee is void in the event of an indeterminable or inconclusive diagnosis.
In case of a sick puppy, after taking him/her home from the breeder. The breeder is not responsible or obligated to pay any vet bills or other payments.
Due to a change of environment, food, care, handling, etc.…, this could have an effect on the puppies’ health. There is no guarantee against Coccidia, Guardia, Kennel cough, Hypoglycemia, and other health issues in which could occur due to the elements in which the breeder cannot control.
No warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, are made under this contract except as stated.
This guarantee begins from the time of the birth date of the puppy.
Breeder reserves the right to change price, and \or guarantee at any time. Also, the breeder reserves the right to refuse the sale of a puppy for any reason.
If any legislation would occur, it would have to take place in the county which the breeder lives in. Only Illinois laws apply to the adoption/purchase of any dog/puppy, not exceptions.
